Description
Most of the materials pertain to O’Brien’s adolescence and young adult life. The collection contains year books and graduation
diplomas and a picture of O’Brien in his army uniform. Also the collection contains materials relating to the Voorhis Vikings.
Background
Edmond O’Brien was one of four brothers who went to the Voorhis School for Boys. He was student at the Voorhis Junior High
and graduated from the school in 1933.O’Brein enlisted in the United States Army in 1946. This collection was donated by his
widow Muriel (sp?) O’Brien.
