Ray Cannon Collection
Carla Laemmle was a dancer and actress predominantly in the late 1920s to 1950s. Growing up she lived in Universal City,
founded by her uncle Carl Laemmle, and observed Universal Studios' movie-making firsthand. She performed in several early
Universal films and plays, and was Prima Ballerina at the Shrine Light Opera Company.
