Description
The documentary television series Expedition! made its debut on ABC-TV in September, 1960. The collection consists mostly of scripts and a very small amount of teacher guide literature.
Background
Expedition!, the documentary television series, made its debut on ABC-TV in September 1960 and was sponsored by the Ralston Purina Company. The program documented journeys to the various remote regions of the world and was known for presenting exciting and sometimes controversial places around the globe. The series run from 1960-1963. It received a Thomas Alva Edison award, Ohio State award, and Peabody award for television excellence.
