Description
Collection consists of over 300 speeches by Americanist right-wing extremist spokesmen on reel to reel and cassette tapes,
as well as Americanist journals, books, pamphlets, booklets, and fugitive materials. Includes speakers from the John Birch
Society, the National Socialist White Peoples' Party, Christian Crusade Convention, and the American Independent Party. Also
includes literature from the Christian Anti-Communism Crusade, the Libertarian Party, the Minutemen, Sons of the American
Revolution, and Voice of Americanism.
Background
Michael Bruce Braver was born on Sept. 25, 1946 in New York City; AB, MA, UCLA, 1969; MSW, Univ. of Southern CA., 1978; Ph.D,
CA School of Professional Psychology, 1983; became asst. professor, Central Washington Univ., 1969-71, winning a meritorious
teaching award in 1969; clinical psychologist in private practice, Toluca Lake, CA, beginning in 1980.
