Description
The Chicano Movement Newspaper collection contains US newspapers and magazines from the mid-1960s to mid-1990s specifically
focusing on the Chicano Movement and other Chicano and Latino issues. Included in the collection is
The Black Panther Intercommunal News Service, a collobrative newspaper with the Chicano based newspaper
Basta Ya. Also included are newspapers devoted to worker rights, anti-war, Chicanas, radical, religious and international issues.
In most cases there are only single or scattered issues, not long runs.

Copyright has not been assigned to the Department of Special Collections, UCSB. All requests for permission to publish or
