Description
This bound manuscript consists of the typescript of a journal kept during a 1908 trip to the West Indies, along with sixty-nine
photographs and clippings tipped in.
Background
Little is known about Theodore Walker. According to the manuscript, he appears to have been from Essex, England, possibly
from Feering or Leicester. A deeply patriotic Englishman, he was also interested in religion, education, and colonialism.
