Anne Bonner Glasscock, writing under the name Michael Bonner, published four novels of Western fiction from 1960-1966. The
Papers contain outlines, characterizations, typescripts with annotations and revisions, and select galleys for the novels:
The Iron Noose(1961);
The Shadow of a Hawk(1963); and
The Disturbing Death of Jenkin Delaney(1966).
Elizabeth Anne Bonner was born on February 19, 1924 in Dallas, Texas to Thomas and Annabelle (Newman) Bonner. She graduated
from the University of Texas in 1944. In 1946, she married Raymond Kerns Glasscock. They had two children, Margaret and David.
A Sacramento, California resident from 1953-1981, she worked for several years as director of Episcopal Community Services
at St. Paul's Center.
