This collection can be used to supplement and enhance research in LARC's primary collections. Although the earliest publication is 1913, the bulk is from the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. A large amount of the material addresses working conditions in California, but most of the pamphlets are from agencies in the U.S. Department of Labor and the WPA and are national in scope.
